Fino a qualche giorno fa anche io ignoravo l’esistenza di questa nazione come di tante altre piccole e grandi entità nazionali sparse sul nostro pianeta che non vengono talvolta nemmeno citate negli atlanti e di cui nessuno, naturalmente, parla mai.
L’occasione per ampliare i miei orizzonti in questo senso mi è stata data dal 39° congresso del Partito Radicale, a cui ho partecipato per la prima volta come osservatrice esterna, che essendo diventato Transnazionale accoglie e si dedica a tutti quei paesi, piccoli o grandi, negli angoli più remoti della Terra in cui ci siano conflitti tra etnie, soprusi, invasioni, negazione dei diritti umani, detenzioni ingiuste e così via.
Durante questo congresso sono venuta in contatto con delegati e rappresentanti di alcune di questi paesi ed è stato un arricchimento assolutamente imprevisto, inimmaginabile e straordinario per me.
Ho scoperto così, per esempio, grazie a Jamil che il Kasmir ha un’estensione pari a cinque nazioni europee ed è stretto tra Russia, India e Cina nella zona dell’Himalaya e ha una storia di invasioni e soprusi quasi pari a quella della…Sicilia!!!
E grazie a Martinho ho saputo che esiste Cabinda, uno stato stretto tra il Congo e lo Zaire, nell’Africa occidentale, grazie a Blanca sono venuta a conoscenza dell’eccidio silenzioso che si consuma nella sua terra, il Venezuela, grazie a Lana ho sentito parlare per la prima volta dell’Abkazia, grazie ad Onyango si è parlato dell’Uganda e si è ricordato Kato ucciso per la sua omosessualità, grazie a Ilya e Tolekan ho saputo del Kirghizistan, grazie a Saad Eddin sono stati ricordati gli avvenimenti del dopo Mubarak in Egitto e grazie al monaco Ashin si è parlato della Birmania.
Per non parlare dell’Azerbaijan, dell’Ogaden, dell’Albania, della Croazia, della Serbia, del Mali…quante etnie, quante lingue diverse, quante culture affascinanti e quanti problemi comuni…

Until few days ago I too ignored the existence of this nation as well as of many other small and big national entities widespread all over our planet which sometimes are not even written in the geographical atlas and which nobody, of course, speak about.
The occasion to widen my horizons in this field has been given to me by the 39th congresso of the Radical Party, to which I have participated for the first time as an external observer, which having become Transnational hosts and dedicates itself to all those countries, small or big, in the most remote corners of our Earth in which there are ethnic conflicts, abuses of power, invasions, negation of human rights, imprisonments and so on.
During this congress I have got in touch with delegates and representatives of some of this nations and it has been an absolutely unexpected, unimaginable and extraordinary for me.
I have so discovered, for example, tank to Jamil that Kashmir has an extension equal to five European nations and it is inserted among Russia, India and China in the Himalaya area and has a long story of invasions and abuse of poker almost equal to the …Sicilian one!!!
And thanks to Martinho I have learnt that Cabinda, a nation between Congo and Zaire, in west Africa, exists, thanks to Blanca I have known something about the silent massacre which is going on in her country, Venezuela, thanks to Lana I have heard about Abkazia for the first time, thanks to Onyango they have talked about Uganda and Kato, killed for his being gay, has been mentioned, thanks to Ilya and Tolekan I have learnt something about Kirghizistan, thanks to Saad Eddin the events happened after Mubarak’s leaving have been discussed and thanks to the monk Ashin Burma has been mentioned.
Not to speak about Azerbaijan, Ogaden, Albania, Croatia, Serbia, Mali…so many ethnic entities, so many different languages, so many fascinating cultures and so many common problems…
Nessuno lo sa perche lo stato di Cabinda NON esiste; esiste invece la citta e la provincia di Cabinda nel Mozambico anche se è staccata terriorialmente da un corridoio appartemente allo Zaire(Congo)
Esistono pero movimenti indindependentici come un po dovunue in Africa e altrove
